The PM Kisan scheme is a crucial step towards providing economic support to Indian farmers. Under this scheme, farmers with less than 2 hectares of land are eligible to receive an annual installment of Rs. 8,000, distributed in three installments. This initiative serves as a vital source of economic security for millions of farmers across the country, aiding them in enhancing their crop cultivation practices.

Minimum Guaranteed Employment Scheme (MGNREGA)

The Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) is a scheme implemented by the Indian government aimed at providing employment opportunities in rural areas. Under this scheme, a guarantee of 100 days of work is provided to the poorest and most vulnerable laborers in the village. This scheme has played a crucial role in combating poverty and supporting rural development, even during the COVID-19 pandemic by providing support to the poor and saving them from economic crisis.
